Cracker Jar What Is The Best Way To Keep Brown Sugar From Going Hard? Is There A Way To Make It Soft Again?

What is the best way to keep brown sugar from going hard? Is there a way to make it soft again? - cracker jar

I used to live along the coast and not have a problem that we now live in a drier climate, a problem, especially in the winter cold.

Even though he in a jam jar, stored lead. If I leave it in the box to roll the wax lining, it runs very fast. I still think that we have on hand for cooking, but it is useless if you drag fields near completion, because it was hard.

This morning I tried a soda cracker in it to see if (it helps, I have it) in some containers in restaurants.

There are things you can buy to prevent brown sugar from hardening.

The most effective use, insert a piece of bread into the bowl of sugar. The sugar draws moisture from the bread.

You must provide the Commission a new piece of bread if the bread is stale though.

You can soften the sugar microwave to it.

Slices of work, but it needs to be replaced as soon as it too hard. I am sure that you do, but there is little specific Bear (brown sugar) and share your blood sugar level, lest it become too difficult. I think I have at Walmart. works well, is washable and should never replace.
Good luck.

The best way to ensure that it is too difficult to store in an airtight container like a plastic bag and vacuum sealed. On a Tupperware container or similar, and as much air as possible will be useful, but not always as effective as the vacuum method.

To soften brown sugar, you can use the slower and safer, to a piece of apple or bread in a container with brown sugar. In one or two days have been relaxing the sugar again.

Or a faster method, but is risky, given brown sugar in microwave with water in a separate container. Microwave brown sugar, stirring continuously every 10 seconds. Is soft, but it is easy to burn when the danger comes in.

But hey, if it works, you have once the brown useful. And if it does not. . . Now you have to replace anyway, right? ;-)
